We're Recording Our First EP!

After months of planning, writing, and arranging, The Darksiders are thrilled to announce that we're entering the studio this July to record our very first EP. It's a huge step forward for the band, and one we've been looking forward to for a long time. The project will feature some of our favorite tunes from our live shows.
We'll be recording at BSO Producciones in Castelló, and we've prepared a powerful set that captures our signature swing sound — rhythmically tight, full of character, and made for dancing. This recording marks not only our studio debut, but the beginning of a new chapter in our story, coming just after the launch of our new brand identity.
We'll be sharing photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes glimpses throughout the process, so stay tuned for updates — and get ready to swing with us after the summer when the EP is released!
The Band
The Darksiders is a swing band born in València, united by a group of passionate musicians with deep roots in the Lindy Hop scene. Our music is a journey through time, celebrating the golden era of jazz with the sounds of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Illinois Jacquet, Johnny Hodges, and many more.
With up to five horns delivering a bold, vibrant sound, and a rhythm section that keeps the groove steady and irresistible, we bring the energy of the swing era to life — both on stage and on the dancefloor.
What truly sets us apart is our connection to the swing dance community. Many of us are Lindy Hoppers ourselves, and that love for the dance shines through in every note we play. Our repertoire is crafted with dancers in mind, packed with swingin' tunes that are as fun to dance as they are to listen to.
At the heart of our project is a deep respect for the origins of this music and dance. Jazz and Lindy Hop are African American art forms, born from the resilience, creativity, and cultural brilliance of Black communities in the United States.
